Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Laurinburg, NC

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide labor and delivery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Laurinburg, North Carolina. The unit has 4 labor beds, 4 triage beds, and 13 obstetric beds, with Epic charting and care for antepartum, postpartum, labor, and induction patients.

• Provide labor, postpartum, and couplet care
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and NSTs
• Triage obstetrical patients and assess acuity
• Support hysterectomy patient care with med-surg skills
• Administer IV therapy, medications, and blood products
• Educate parents on newborn care and discharge instructions

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, FHM, and NRP
• 3 years of labor and delivery experience
• Travel experience
• Experience with fetal monitoring, triage, couplet care, and hysterectomy patient care

• AWHONN Advanced or AWHONN Intermediate
• STABLE
• Epic charting experience
• Community hospital experience
