Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit during a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 16-bed unit uses Cerner and commonly staffs 1:1 and 1:2 ratios in a Magnet-designated hospital.

• Assess laboring patients and newborns throughout care
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, and cerclage procedures
• Provide immediate newborn care at delivery
• Prepare and manage fetal monitoring and infusion equipment
• Document care and communicate changes to the team

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• NRP, BLS, and Advanced Life Support
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• High-risk labor and delivery experience
• Immediate newborn care experience
