Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for birthing patients in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 16 beds, uses Cerner, and has 1:1 and 1:2 ratios. The hospital has Magnet designation.

• Monitor labor progress and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Support D&C, cerclage, and c-hyst procedures
• Provide immediate newborn care after delivery
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and team
• Document care in the electronic record

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• NRP, BLS, ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• High-risk Labor and Delivery experience
• Immediate newborn care skill
