Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Houston, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide intrapartum and postpartum care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Houston, Texas. The 35-bed unit uses CPN and Meditech, handles vaginal deliveries, cesarean recovery, and antepartum testing, and has Baby Friendly designation.

• Monitor laboring patients and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean recovery
• Support antepartum assessment and testing
• Manage labor medications and protocol-based care
• Collaborate with anesthesia, neonatal, laborist, and hospitalist teams
• Document care and respond to changing maternal-fetal conditions

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Strong maternal-fetal assessment and electronic fetal monitoring skills

• OR circulation for cesarean sections
• Placement of FSE and IUPC
