Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Grants, NM

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Grants, New Mexico. The role supports newborn assessment, patient education, and coordinated care for mothers and infants.

• Assess mothers and newborns and develop individualized care plans
• Provide labor support, delivery care, recovery care, and postpartum nursing
• Educate patients and families on care plans and newborn needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team
• Direct ancillary team members and support quality and safety standards
• Maintain sterile technique and support fetal monitoring and newborn assessment

• Current New Mexico Registered Nurse license or active multistate compact license
• Current Basic Life Support, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification within 12 months of hire
• Perinatal care, labor support, delivery, and newborn assessment skills
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and culturally competent care skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• SAFER NM Technician certification
