Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Glenwood Springs, CO

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide charge support in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The unit includes OR, PACU and postpartum support and provides couplet care for babies 32 weeks and up. It averages about 80 deliveries each month and uses evidence-based, patient-centered care.

• Coordinate charge nurse coverage for the labor and delivery team
• Support care for laboring patients, postpartum patients and newborns
• Collaborate with OR, PACU and postpartum staff as needed
• Monitor patient flow and prioritize assignments during busy periods
• Guide bedside staff in patient-centered and evidence-based care
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license or compact license valid in Colorado
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP and STABLE certification
• 4 years of experience
• Labor and delivery charge nursing experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
