Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Attleboro, MA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in an acute care hospital on a 6-week contract in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The 15-bed unit has an average daily census of 8, with infants rooming with mothers and a newborn nursery used when needed.

• Assess laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Assist with vaginal, cesarean, and operative deliveries
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal status
• Provide couplet care, newborn assessment, and thermoregulation support
• Administer medications and manage IV drips and infusion pumps
• Document care and communicate changes using SBAR
• Teach discharge and breastfeeding guidance to parents

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Prior travel experience

• AWHONN Advanced
• AWHONN Intermediate
• Obstetrical triage, NSTs, amnioinfusion, and IV start skills
