Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Attleboro, MA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit in Attleboro, Massachusetts for a 6-week contract. The 15-bed unit has an average daily census of 8, uses Omnicell and SBAR, and supports rooming-in with mothers and newborn nursery care when needed.

• Monitor labor progress, fetal heart patterns, and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean recovery, and newborn care
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and uterotonic or magnesium sulfate treatment
• Support postpartum assessments, pain management, and discharge teaching
• Provide breastfeeding support, thermoregulation, and couplet care
• Use fetal monitoring systems, SBAR communication, and medication dispensing workflows

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner certifications
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Prior travel experience

• AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate
• Antepartum care, triage, and NST experience
• Amnioinfusion, sterile vaginal exam, and IV start skills
• Baby-friendly care, car seat education, and previous charge experience
