Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for mothers and newborns in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 16-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 16 beds, uses Cerner, and commonly works with 1:1 and 1:2 patient ratios for high-acuity obstetric care.

• Monitor labor progress and maternal-fetal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean births
• Provide immediate newborn care after delivery
• Support high-risk obstetric patients and emergencies
• Operate fetal monitoring and infusion equipment
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• NRP, BLS, ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• 2+ years of labor and delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience
• Immediate newborn care skills
