Travel Intermediate Care RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse will care for adults in a cardiac and neuro stepdown unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Cookeville, Tennessee. The unit has 31 beds, an average daily census of 12, and serves observation and post-procedure cardiac patients.

• Monitor adults with cardiac and neuro needs, including observation and post-procedure patients
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias and telemetry changes
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cath, TEE, EP, pacemaker, and vascular lab patients
• Assess neurological and cardiovascular status and escalate changes promptly
• Administer medications and support bedside interventions
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other support teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2+ years of cardiac experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Prior travel nursing experience

• Neuro nursing experience
• NIHSS
