Travel Infusion RN in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Infusion Registered Nurse will provide oncology infusion care in a cancer center unit on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit serves hematology oncology and solid tumor patients, including CAR-T, BMT and stem cell transplant cases, and uses Epic. Care includes chemotherapy, blood products, port access and continuous infusions.

• Complete oncology assessments and nursing interventions
• Educate patients and families on treatments and side effects
• Administer chemotherapy by intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous routes
• Infuse blood products and monitor for reactions
• Access, de-access and troubleshoot ports and central lines
• Operate infusion pumps and CADD pumps for continuous infusions
• Watch for abnormal lab values and other infusion complications

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification
• 2 years of oncology experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• OCN certification
• Immunotherapy administration experience
• Stem cell transplant and CAR-T experience
• Teaching hospital experience
