About this job
A Travel Infusion Registered Nurse will provide outpatient infusion care in an acute care hospital in Burlington, Massachusetts for a 13-week contract. Adult hematology, oncology, and medical patients are seen in a 25-chair unit that uses Epic.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and infusion medications
- Monitor adult patients during treatment and report changes
- Access and deaccess IVADs and manage PICC lines
- Start peripheral IVs and draw blood samples
- Operate Alaris and CADD infusion pumps
- Coordinate care for assigned infusion chairs and patient throughput
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- BLS-AHA certification
- ONS chemotherapy provider card
- 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience
- Epic charting experience
- IVAD, PICC, and peripheral IV experience
