Travel ICU RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will care for critically ill adults in a medical intensive care unit in Wichita, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 26 beds, uses a 2:1 ratio, and charts in Meditech/CPN.

• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changing conditions
• Support hemodynamic monitoring and airway management
• Assist with moderate sedation and CRRT care
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
• Prepare and deliver ICU nursing interventions for high-acuity patients

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Minimum 1 year current acute care ICU Registered Nurse hospital experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale

• Meditech charting experience
• Large trauma facility experience
• Sono IV experience
• CRRT experience
