About this job

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care nursing in a hospital ICU on a 13-week contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The 25-bed unit typically staffs at 1:2 and uses MediTech, Alaris pumps, and GE monitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor critically ill patients
  • Administer medications and manage infusions
  • Support open heart recovery care
  • Assist with bedside cardioversions and bronchoscopy
  • Collaborate on CRRT and Impella care
  • Document care and respond to changes in condition

Qualifications

  • Kansas Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
  • Critical care nursing experience
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Strong communication and adaptability to change
