Travel ICU RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a hospital unit on a 14-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit cares for adults and geriatrics, including a prison population, and handles stepdown acuity. Ratios are 2:1 in ICU and 3:1 for stepdown.

• Provide critical care for adults and geriatrics in ICU and stepdown settings
• Assist with bedside procedures, chest tube care, and procedural sedation
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and suctioning
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips and monitor dysrhythmias and ABGs
• Support care for sepsis, stroke, MI, DKA, renal failure, and post-cath patients
• Respond to rapid response and code blue events with the care team

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI or MAB
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Prior travel experience
• Charting system experience
• Critical care skills with ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and procedural sedation

• Chemotherapy administration
• Phlebotomy skills
• Pulmonary artery line or Swan Ganz monitoring
• Charge experience in teaching or community hospital settings
