Travel ICU RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care for critically ill patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The role centers on a critical care unit that values close monitoring, rapid response, and teamwork.

• Monitor critically ill patients and report changes in condition
• Administer IV medications and titrate therapies as ordered
• Assess vital signs, labs, and hemodynamic trends
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Manage lines, drains, airway support, and ICU therapies
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Active Registered Nurse license in Iowa
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Critical care nursing experience
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
