Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill adults in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports an ICU unit with standard critical care monitoring.

• Monitor critically ill patients and report changes in condition
• Administer IV medications and support titrated therapies
• Manage ventilator-related care and other critical care interventions
• Perform detailed assessments and intervene for unstable patients
• Document care, response, and clinical outcomes
• Coordinate with the care team during admissions and transfers

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
• Critical care assessment and IV therapy skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
