Travel ICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in a short term acute care hospital in Lubbock, Texas on a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit uses Epic, averages 13 patients daily, and works with 1:2 ratios, with 1:3 possible in higher acuity situations.

• Monitor critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Administer ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and airway care
• Manage IV medications, blood products, and continuous sedation
• Assist with CRRT and renal failure care
• Interpret ABGs, dysrhythmias, and hemodynamic trends
• Support central lines, arterial lines, infection prevention, and isolation precautions

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• CVICU experience
• Neuro ICU experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience
