Travel ICU RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital for a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports an ICU unit and ICU flex pool for critically ill patients with continuous bedside monitoring and complex care needs.

• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and neurologic status
• Assess critically ill patients and report changes promptly
• Administer IV medications and other ordered therapies
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Assist with emergency interventions and ICU procedures

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
