Travel ICU RN in Cambridge, MA

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct care for complex critical care and CT surgery patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Cambridge, Massachusetts. EPIC is used, and the role supports advanced monitoring and cardiac devices in a high-acuity unit.

• Assess critically ill patients and respond to changing conditions
• Monitor hemodynamic status and support cardiac surgery recovery
• Assist with advanced cardiac support devices and related care
• Administer medications and therapies per critical care protocols
• Collaborate with the care team on individualized plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC
• Educate patients and families on care needs and recovery

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of similar critical care experience
• Critical care and CT surgery experience
• Mechanical circulatory support device experience
• EPIC experience
