Travel ICU RN in Springfield, MA

A Travel ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Springfield, Massachusetts. The 32-bed medical ICU also serves neuro critical care patients, with typical ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 for higher acuity. Common cases include sepsis, ESRD, AKI, respiratory failure, CRRT/CVVH, and post-cardiac arrest care.

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients with changing clinical needs
• Manage care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, AKI, and ESRD
• Support CRRT/CVVH and other advanced critical care therapies
• Administer medications and provide ongoing ICU treatment interventions
• Track neurological and hemodynamic status and respond to changes
• Document care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• 2 years ICU experience
