Travel ICU RN in Avon, IN

A Travel Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill adults and geriatrics in a hospital ICU on a 12-week contract in Avon, Indiana. The unit is a heavy medical ICU with some surgical patients, mainly GI or carotid cases, and uses Cerner.

• Monitor hemodynamics and respond to rhythm changes
• Manage ventilated patients and oxygen support
• Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Assist with arterial lines, central lines, and PICC care
• Support blood product administration, insulin protocols, and sedation
• Coordinate care for post-cardiac cath and multisystem failure cases
• Reinforce infection prevention and isolation precautions

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of intensive care unit experience
• Cerner charting experience

• Accessing and managing ports
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Starting and maintaining IVs
