Travel Hospice Palliative Care RN in Missoula, MT

A Travel Hospice Palliative Care Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing and case management for patients in their place of residence in Missoula, Montana on an 8-week contract. The role supports patients and families through assessment, symptom management, teaching, and interdisciplinary coordination.

• Assess patients and update plans of care
• Coordinate admissions, services, and referrals
• Provide teaching and counseling to patients and families
• Monitor symptoms and response to treatments or medications
• Collaborate with the care team to support continuity of care
• Oversee home health aides and CNAs assigned to patients
• Document care and participate in quality improvement activities

• Current Montana Registered Nurse license
• Valid driver's license
• Appropriate auto insurance and reliable transportation

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• 2 years of recent acute care, home care, or hospice experience
• Venipuncture, catheterization, wound care, and parenteral therapy
• HCHB experience
