Travel Histology Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Histology Tech HT(ASCP) will perform routine and complex histologic work in a hospital laboratory in Charleston, South Carolina, on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults in a teaching, Magnet, Level 1 trauma setting and uses Epic.

• Process tissue for histology testing
• Embed, cut, and prepare tissue sections
• Perform routine and special stains
• Assist with immunohistochemistry work
• Check slide quality and report issues
• Document instrument maintenance and lab observations

• BLS
• HT(ASCP) certification
• 5 years of full-time histology experience
• Epic Beaker experience

• HTL(ASCP) certification
• Bachelor’s degree in histotechnology, biology, or a related scientific discipline
• QIHC
• IHC and special stains experience
