Travel Histology Tech in Flint, MI

A Travel Histology Technologist will prepare tissue specimens and support processing in a corporate laboratory on a 13-week contract in Flint, Michigan. The role centers on specimen preservation, slide preparation, staining, and quality control.

• Process tissue specimens through fixation, embedding, sectioning, and slide preparation
• Operate a microtome and cryostat to prepare thin tissue sections
• Mount and stain slides for microscopic review
• Check specimen quality and take corrective action when needed
• Maintain instruments and perform preventive maintenance
• Manage supplies and support quality-control activities

• ASCP certification
