Travel Histology Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Histology Technician will perform routine and complex histologic work in a teaching hospital for a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The role supports adult histopathology and special stains with Epic charting in a Magnet, Level 1 Trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Process tissue specimens for histologic analysis
• Embed, section, and stain slides
• Perform routine and special stains and immunohistochemistry
• Review completed slides for quality and accuracy
• Document observations and instrument maintenance
• Follow laboratory policies and quality control procedures

• 5 years full-time histology experience
• HT(ASCP) certification
• BLS certification
• Epic Beaker experience

• Bachelor’s degree in histotechnology, biology, or related scientific discipline
• QIHC
• IHC and special stains experience
• HTL(ASCP)
