Travel ED RN in Winnebago, NE

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide direct emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Winnebago, Nebraska. The unit serves about 10,000 people and has a physician on duty at all times. It cares for acutely ill and critically ill patients with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment.

• Triage patients presenting for emergency care
• Assess acutely ill and critically ill patients
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood transfusions as prescribed
• Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Document care accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Accredited nursing diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or higher
• 3 years of professional nursing experience
• Current or obtainable ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and CPR certification
• ENPC, CPI, AWHONN, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM, and RNFA credentials

• Emergency Room nursing experience
