Travel ED RN in Thornton, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The unit has 40 beds, sees about 145 patients daily, uses Meditech, and works at 4:1 ratios.

• Triage patients using rapid assessment and prioritization
• Perform comprehensive and focused nursing assessments
• Monitor vital signs, pain, and response to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions
• Support trauma, stroke, sepsis, and behavioral health care
• Assist with wound care, splinting, sedation, and blood collection

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department Registered Nurse experience
• BLS, ALS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• CPI Blue card

• Trauma level 1 or 2 emergency department experience
• Meditech charting experience
