A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in the emergency department during a 13-week contract in Syracuse, New York. The unit uses Epic and focuses on emergency care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients quickly and prioritize care based on acuity
  • Monitor vital signs and respond to changing conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Support emergency interventions and stabilization efforts
  • Document care and updates in Epic
  • Collaborate with physicians and the care team
  • Educate patients and families before discharge

Qualifications

  • New York Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • Emergency department nursing skills
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
