Travel ED RN in Springfield, VT

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a critical access hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Springfield, Vermont. The unit serves about 14,000 patient visits each year and is staffed around the clock. Nurses screen patients on arrival to determine severity and next steps.

• Triage patients and determine severity of condition
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor emergency department patients
• Administer medications and other ordered treatments
• Support diagnostic testing and emergency care procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and other care team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response

• Active Vermont Registered Nurse license
• TNCC certification
• BLS certification through AHA
• ACLS certification through AHA
• PALS certification through AHA
