Travel ED RN in Smyrna, TN

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital in Smyrna, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The 39-bed unit uses Meditech EDM, maintains a 4:1 ratio, and serves critical care, behavioral health, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and trauma patients.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor critical care drips and sedation
• Respond to codes and urgent changes
• Assist with intubation and chest tube insertion
• Support care for STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and trauma patients
• Document care in Meditech EDM
• Collaborate with the emergency care team

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications
• Experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI, and codes
• Experience with STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Trauma experience
