Travel ED RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an emergency unit in Seattle, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit sees about 65 visits per day and includes adult, pediatric, and behavioral health cases in an 18-bed setting.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Stabilize adult and pediatric cases
• Manage respiratory support and ventilated patients
• Assist with chest tube, central line, and feeding tube care
• Monitor dysrhythmias and provide procedural sedation support
• Administer blood products and IV therapies
• Support care for psych and substance use patients

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 3 years of emergency department experience
• BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care, and blood product administration
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV vasopressor use, phlebotomy, IV starts, triage, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Level II or III trauma experience

• Level II trauma center experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Charting system experience
