Travel ED RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will support a large emergency department in Everett, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit sees low- to high-acuity patients including stroke, STEMI, trauma, behavioral health, and acute boarding, with Epic charting and a level 2 trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
• Assess and stabilize stroke, STEMI, trauma, and critically ill patients
• Start and maintain IV access and draw labs
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and procedural sedation support
• Monitor dysrhythmias, ventilated patients, and isolation precautions
• De-escalate behavioral health situations and coordinate with the care team

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Two years of emergency department experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• Arterial line management
• Arterial blood gas interpretation
• Neuro-trauma experience
• Spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury experience
