Travel ED RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a large emergency department at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Everett, Washington. The unit sees low- and high-acuity patients, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, behavioral health, and boarding cases, with Epic charting and Level II trauma care. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care across varied acuity
• Assess and stabilize stroke, STEMI, trauma, and behavioral health patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, and continuous sedation
• Support ventilatory care, including BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilated patients
• Start and maintain IV access, manage central lines, and assist with procedural sedation

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience and prior travel experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
• Epic charting experience
• Emergency department skills in triage, IV therapy, dysrhythmia interpretation, central line care, blood products, and procedural sedation

• Arterial line management
• ABG interpretation
• Neuro-trauma experience
• Spinal cord and traumatic brain injury care
