Travel ED RN in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit has 26 beds, sees about 120 visits a day, and uses Epic.

• Triage patients and prioritize care in a busy emergency department
• Assess and monitor adult, pediatric, geriatric, psych, cardiac, stroke, and trauma patients
• Start and maintain IV access and administer emergency medications
• Interpret dysrhythmias and support cardiac monitoring
• Assist with trauma, stroke, and other emergency interventions
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, phlebotomy, pharmacy, and other support teams

• California Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Hospital experience
• Level II trauma experience
• Epic charting system experience
