Travel ED RN in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 26-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit serves adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, averages 120 visits per day, has 26 beds, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome with ED experience, and level II trauma experience supports the mix of medical, cardiac, stroke, pediatric, psych, and trauma cases.

• Assess emergency patients across all age groups
• Triage medical, cardiac, stroke, pediatric, psych, and trauma cases
• Start and maintain IV access and support dysrhythmia care
• Provide emergency nursing interventions and assist with trauma stabilization
• Document care and updates in Epic
• Support isolation precautions, PPE, and rapid response needs

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Hospital-based Emergency Department experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Skills in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV starts, isolation precautions, and level II trauma care
