Travel ED RN in San Jose, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital setting on a 12-week contract in San Jose, California. The unit has 36 beds, uses Meditech charting, and typically runs 4:1 ratios, with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1. It supports stroke and STEMI care.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Initiate and monitor acute interventions
• Support stroke and STEMI care
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Document assessments and treatments in the chart
• Escalate changes in condition promptly

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital
• Strong emergency assessment, prioritization, and communication skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Prior travel or interim experience in California
