Travel ED RN in Round Rock, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Round Rock, Texas. The unit uses MEDITECH and sees emergency, behavioral health, cardiac, and trauma patients with typical ratios of 1:4 in the ED and 1:3 for cardiac and trauma care.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients
• Monitor cardiac, trauma, and behavioral health patients
• Assist with splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, and resuscitation
• Support trauma response, central line care, and airway support
• Manage rapid infusers and other emergency equipment
• De-escalate behavioral health situations and work with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS

• Meditech experience
• Trauma experience
• Inpatient holding experience
• CPI training
