Travel ED RN in Live Oak, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for emergency patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Live Oak, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and treats chest pain, stroke, sepsis, and behavioral health cases.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Assist with conscious sedation and intubation support
• Monitor patients with chest pain, stroke, and sepsis concerns
• Provide behavioral health watch and safety support
• Collaborate with the care team on rapid interventions

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license, no temporary license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of emergency department experience

• CEN certification
• Meditech experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
