Travel ED RN in Riverside, CA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in a hospital in Riverside, California on a 13-week contract. The unit has 67 beds, a 4:1 patient ratio, and an EMR in a high-acuity setting with changing census.

• Assess and triage patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Monitor patient status and respond to changing acuity
• Administer medications and support emergency interventions
• Collaborate with providers and the care team
• Document assessments, treatments and patient responses in the EMR
• Assist with emergency department procedures and diagnostic testing

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department Registered Nurse experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS and CPI certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Emergency care assessment, prioritization and teamwork skills

• Meditech experience
