Travel ED RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for emergency patients in an acute care hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The teaching unit serves trauma patients, uses Epic, and averages 1:3 ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Assess and stabilize airway and breathing concerns
• Manage IV drips and monitor arterial lines
• Support care for ventilated patients and sedation monitoring
• Provide nursing care for trauma and stroke cases
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 2 years of recent emergency department experience in a trauma or teaching hospital setting
• Epic charting experience
• Airway management, arterial line management, central line care, and ventilator care
• Triage, dysrhythmia management, and procedural sedation monitoring

• TNCC
• PMAB training
• Level I trauma center experience
