Travel ED RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The unit has 38 beds, including trauma bays, a burn room, a psych room, and a vertical treatment area, with Meditech charting and variable ratios based on acuity and volume.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients
• Provide assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
• Assist with trauma, burn, stroke, and chest pain care
• Administer treatments and medications as ordered
• Collaborate with RN, paramedic, EMT, and unit secretary staff
• Document patient care in the medical record

• Texas Registered Nurse license or compact license eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• SAMA, CPI, or equivalent after start
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong emergency nursing assessment, triage, and stabilization skills

• ENPC certification
