Travel ED RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in a busy emergency department on a 13-week contract in Everett, Washington. The unit serves low- to high-acuity adults and pediatrics, uses Epic, and handles stroke, STEMI, trauma, and behavioral health cases in a level II trauma hospital.

• Triage and prioritize emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
• Provide care for stroke, STEMI, trauma, and behavioral health presentations
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and emergency medications
• Monitor ventilated patients and assist with sedation-related care
• Perform IV starts, central line care, phlebotomy, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Support procedural sedation, trauma response, and rapid intervention needs
• Coordinate with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• Current Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certification
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with triage, IV starts, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience caring for critically ill, trauma, and behavioral health patients

• Arterial line management
• ABG interpretation
• Neuro-trauma and traumatic brain injury care
• Level I or level II trauma experience
