Travel ED RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a large acute care hospital in Everett, Washington on a 13-week contract. The department sees low- to high-acuity patients, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, behavioral health, and acute care boarding, and uses Epic in a Level II trauma and primary stroke receiving setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage and prioritize emergency department patients
• Assess and stabilize low- and high-acuity patients
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and vasopressors
• Monitor dysrhythmias, ventilatory support, and procedural sedation
• Support trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health care
• Start and maintain IV access and assist with phlebotomy

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS
• ENPC or PALS
• Epic charting system experience
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Prior travel experience

• Arterial line management
• ABG interpretation
• Neuro-trauma experience
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience
