Travel ED RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a 42-bed acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The unit sees about 170 patients a day across all ages and uses Epic. It is a level 1 stroke and cardiac center with level III trauma status, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Triage patients and prioritize emergency care
• Assess and stabilize patients across all age groups
• Monitor ventilated patients and cardiac rhythms
• Administer IV therapies, vasopressors, and sedation
• Perform central line care and support ABG interpretation
• Apply isolation precautions and coordinate with the care team

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of emergency department experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Epic charting system experience
• Ventilator care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV vasopressor management, multisystem organ dysfunction care, and triage skills
