Travel ED RN in El Paso, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in El Paso, Texas. The unit has 26 beds, uses a 4:1 ratio, and supports patients needing vents, EKG monitoring, and teleneuro care.

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of varied acuity
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients in the emergency department
• Start IVs and support EKG monitoring and cardiac care
• Assist with lumbar punctures, central lines, and moderate sedation
• Monitor patients receiving cardioversion and other urgent interventions
• Collaborate with the team to support safe patient care

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS, and CPI certifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
