Travel ED RN in Duncan, OK

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for patients in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Duncan, Oklahoma. The unit treats adults, pediatrics, geriatrics, infants, adolescents, and neonates for trauma, stroke, behavioral health, respiratory, and abdominal emergencies. Ratios are 1:2-3.

• Triage and assess emergency patients across all age groups
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to treatment
• Start and maintain IV access and support central line care
• Administer emergency medications and monitor procedural sedation
• Assist with stroke, trauma, orthopedic, respiratory, and abdominal care
• Provide de-escalation support and isolation precautions

• Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• CPI and de-escalation course
• Prior travel experience

• Arterial line management
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or II experience
• Charting system experience
