Travel ED RN in Cypress, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will care for emergency patients in a hospital in Cypress, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 19 beds, uses Meditech charting, and typically works with 4:1 or 5:1 patient ratios.

• Assess patients and prioritize care in the emergency setting
• Triage incoming patients and coordinate rapid room placement
• Assist with STEMI, tPA, CPR, laceration repair, and ortho care
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer ordered treatments and medications
• Document care accurately in the medical record

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC
• Emergency care, triage, and rapid assessment skills
