Travel ED RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel RN - ED - Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding hospital unit in Chattanooga, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit has 11 beds, a 1:4 ratio and uses Meditech. It supports chest pain and stroke care, respiratory therapy support and tele-neuro and tele-psych consults.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Administer medications, IV therapy and emergency treatments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPAP and travel vent support
• Support chest pain and stroke evaluations
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with the team

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• Basic respiratory care knowledge for breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPAP and travel vent support
