Travel ED RN in Aurora, CO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Aurora, Colorado. The unit uses Meditech, serves a high-acuity patient mix, and maintains 1:4 or 1:5 ratios.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care needs
• Monitor cardiac, neurologic, and glucose status and respond to changes
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Assist with triage, stabilization, and bedside procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, EMTs, and other team members
• Document care accurately in the electronic record
• Support patient education and discharge planning as needed

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• Emergency nursing assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills

• Trauma experience
• Stroke experience
